Request a tool

The best way to grow mini-tools.dev is through real feedback from developers who know what's missing. If there's a utility you find yourself reaching for repeatedly — something that should be simple and fast, runs in a browser, and doesn't need a server — we want to know about it.

To request a new tool, email hello@mini-tools.dev with the subject line "Tool Request" and include:

• What the tool does — a one-sentence description of the operation (e.g., "Convert JWT tokens to JSON and display the decoded payload").
• Why you need it — a brief explanation of your use case. The more specific, the better.
• Any similar tools you've seen — links to existing sites that do something similar, if you know of any. This helps us understand the expected interface and edge cases.

Tool requests that come with a clear use case and a concrete example are far more likely to be built quickly. Vague requests for "more tools" are less actionable.

Bug reports

If a tool isn't working correctly, please include the following in your email:

• Which tool has the issue (e.g., "JSON Formatter")
• What input you used (if it's not sensitive)
• What you expected to happen vs. what actually happened
• Your browser and operating system (e.g., Chrome 124 on macOS 14)
